A contemporary interpretation of our grandmothers’ enamelled suspensions, this model is adorned with discreet terracotta marbling

Age-old know-how from the Apt region – for generations, mixed earth has been the technique for decorating culinary objects in the Luberon

The white and ochre earths are mixed, then shaped by hand

These ceramic pieces are then left to dry for several days before being fired in the oven a first time, then a second time to fix the glaze for this model whose surface is smooth and shiny, which gives it a precious side

The size of this version “Pitchoun” – “the little one” in Provencal slang – comes to illuminate with elegance a bathroom, a headboard, or a kitchen corner

These suspensions – soft and sensual – work as well alone as in pairs

They fit perfectly in a Mediterranean decor, but also bring warmth and authenticity to a more sophisticated universe

Supplied with a solid brass socket, a woven linen thread (2.5m) and a porcelain rose
