Benoit Audureau enjoys working with raw, unprocessed clay sourced from local brickworks or pottery studios. After firing, these clays reveal all their natural imperfections. Each piece is coated with a white magnesian glaze and fired in an electric kiln at 1270°C. Over time, depending on the clay used, the glaze will reveal shades of gray, blue, or green.
